Set in southwest Virginia, Horizon High School is a public charter school dedicated to serving the needs of 800 students in grades nine through twelve. At HHS, students participate in a rigorous academic curriculum that is centered around environmental responsibility. Students at HHS develop an awareness of the practice and promotion of sustainability in our communities, and the World at large. Horizon High School students are active learners, striving to achieve their academic, social, and emotional potentials, while working cooperatively to fulfill duties related to environmental stewardship and civic responsibility.
